"I read The [New Zealand Farmers] Weekly and Country-Wide. You dig into the issues and I can follow the markets.
I think you've done New Zealand a great service by getting performance and production best practice out in front of farmers with your farm profiles. Your ones get a chance to get read, the other ones go straight in the bin".

New branding reflects vision

New branding has been launched today by NZX, publisher of The New Zealand Farmers Weekly.

The company’s newspaper and magazine titles now sit in the NZX Agri division, which also incorporates agricultural data provider NZX Agrifax, international dairy sector newsletter Dairy Week and the supporting publication, real estate and job websites.

The new NZX Agri brand’s associated imagery reflects the company’s desire to continue getting up close and reporting what really matters to New Zealand farmers.

“Our team of reporters is not afraid to dig into the stories that we believe farmers need to read. Our latest investigation into the rural property market is a good example,” said NZX Agri managing editor Tony Leggett.

Readers will also notice some changes to the design and layout of The New Zealand Farmers Weekly from next issue (March 15) but no change to the news and market information which farmers rate the highest of any rural newspaper in the country.

The new NZX Agri branding coincides with rebranding of the other divisions of NZX. These include NZX Clear, which operates the only grain exchange in Australasia, NZX Energy which operates energy markets, and NZX Mkts which runs the NZ stock exchange, as well as other subsidiary companies.
